When Fausto Bastian came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Beazley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Bastian couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Gabino in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Henric saved Football Club Argentino from getting behind. Simon Teyo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Marcial Henric made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Teyo in the 12th minute of play. When Beazley's Hernan Gabino in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Football Club Argentino's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Modesto Uhin got free with Horacio Chabier in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute Fausto Bastian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Henric saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Henric made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Teyo in the 20th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Xabier during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Claudio Xabier kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Marcial Henric showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Bastian, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Marcial Henric showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Gabino in the 30th minute of the match. Fausto Bastian took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Henric. Marcial Henric dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 39th minute, Modesto Uhin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horacio Chabier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernan Gabino in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Henric prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 47 minutes, Jesus Pietro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beazley and the Football Club Argentino players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Football Club Argentino booed when Beazley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Pietro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Ulises Bermudez fired a really elegant long shot, but Horacio Chabier threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernan Gabino was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th minute, Carmelo Mero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Aznar in the 63rd minute of play forced Football Club Argentino's goalkeeper Marcial Henric to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Football Club Argentino getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Modesto Uhin hit a great ball. After 66th play minutes Hernan Gabino shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Marcial Henric and just under the crossbar into goal. Fausto Bastian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernan Gabino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcial Henric having to make a save. After 72 played minutes Football Club Argentino got a freekick which was hit by Justo Ricart. Hernan Gabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Henric having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Football Club Argentino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Ladio to maneuver through the defense. Hernan Gabino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Marcial Henric when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 84th match minute, Beazley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Pietro to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Gabino in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Henric saved Football Club Argentino from getting behind. Beazley's Hernan Gabino was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 93rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 98 played minutes Football Club Argentino got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Xabier. Beazley played a much better game than Football Club Argentino and deserved their victory. The Football Club Argentino players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
