After having played for 15 minutes, Alfredo Veronica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Wamyc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Veronica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Matias Betadur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Almagro's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Betadur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lázaro Lapurdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Matias Betadur came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Club Almagro fans jumped to their feet.
