When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Federico Peruxu took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Alfonso Iigo to make any attempt to save it. Gualterio Tallia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosario Central's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
