In the 86thth minute of the game Justino Tome who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Sportivo Paternal's Cipriano Chaime was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute, Justino Tome got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ladislao Iago came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Club Sportivo Paternal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Iago couldn't finish the play. The Club Sportivo Paternal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Sportivo Paternal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
