After 12 played minutes El ciclon Gambito got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Gaitano. If Gaspar Eguerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Ritchie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Lucian, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 28th minute Igor Lucian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Ritchie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Estebe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaston Ritchie having to make a save. When Jairo Llope fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talacasto FC's protests and gave Jairo Llope a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Talacasto FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jairo Llope hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Teobaldo Bonifaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Ritchie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Lucian in the 54th minute of play. After 56 minutes, Dalmacio Gaitano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El ciclon Gambito and the Talacasto FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Teobaldo Bonifaco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gaspar Eguerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Remigio Giraldo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 67th minute, Igor Lucian made a precise shot to the right of Gaston Ritchie. Talacasto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Gaston Ritchie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Estebe in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Lucian in the 75th minute of play forced Talacasto FC's goalkeeper Gaston Ritchie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Gaston Ritchie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Ritchie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Lucian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El ciclon Gambito were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Talacasto FC for a fine match.
