Isidoro Gaur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Angelino Venceslas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Mariano Gaitan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Regina Sporting's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Gaitan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 minutes, Mariano Gaitan made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Anaxágoras's Angelino Venceslas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the game, Regina Sporting's Mariano Gaitan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelino Venceslas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A collision led to Regina Sporting getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Astor Lordi hit a great ball. Mariano Gaitan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Isidoro Gaur fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Angelino Venceslas, passed just outside the right post. Apolo Mouricio's late challenge caught a Regina Sporting's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apolo Mouricio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Regina Sporting booed when Anaxágoras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Mouricio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Gaitan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Angelino Venceslas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Anaxágoras's goalkeeper Angelino Venceslas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Gaitan. If Mariano Gaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Gaur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelino Venceslas having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Gaitan to make the kick off. Delmar Ireno struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Filomeno Oriol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anaxágoras. 57 minutes into the match, Anaxágoras's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Gaur came free, but Angelino Venceslas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Isidoro Gaur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Venceslas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Venceslas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Gaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Gaur struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Angelino Venceslas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Regina Sporting. The audience was convinced that Astor Lordi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelino Venceslas was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Anaxágoras's Angelino Venceslas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Gaur in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Mariano Gaitan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Regina Sporting fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Isidoro Gaur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Angelino Venceslas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 86 played minutes Regina Sporting got a freekick which was hit by Astor Lordi. In the 93rd minute, Mariano Gaitan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Isidoro Gaur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Gaitan in the 96th minute of play forced Anaxágoras's goalkeeper Angelino Venceslas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Regina Sporting fully deserved thier win.
