Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliciano Francis in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Playo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nereo Casado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Playo having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Nereo Casado notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Bonguno FC's Victoriano Playo. Victoriano Playo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 46 minutes, Benito Gabon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rapelli and the Bonguno FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rapelli getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Benito Gabon hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliciano Francis to strike the kick off in the second half. When Amado Nesto came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Bonguno FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Nesto couldn't finish the play. Teobaldo Etxepare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoriano Playo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Francis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teobaldo Etxepare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. German Cresenciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicanor Toro hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Casado got free with Victoriano Playo in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rapelli's German Cresenciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Etxepare in the 71st minute of play. Victoriano Playo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Francis in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Rapelli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Toro to maneuver through the defense. When Feliciano Francis came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Rapelli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Francis couldn't finish the play. Nereo Casado succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 87th playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Feliciano Francis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rapelli's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliciano Francis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Playo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Rapelli supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rapelli would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
