If Jacobo Mikelats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El ciclon Gambito's Remigio Giraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Ebardo in the 41st minute of play. Remigio Giraldo came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Piñalitos AFC's Fabian Ebardo. But to his dismay, Fabian Ebardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Igor Lucian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ulises Ekialde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Jacobo Mikelats made a precise shot to the right of Remigio Giraldo. El ciclon Gambito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabian Ebardo to make the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Fabian Ebardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piñalitos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Ebardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Ebardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Remigio Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmacio Gaitano hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Piñalitos AFC's Jacobo Mikelats sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigio Giraldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ricardo Estebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Ekialde having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Piñalitos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Iruinea. When Igor Lucian came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the El ciclon Gambito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Lucian couldn't finish the play. Jacobo Mikelats struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Remigio Giraldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piñalitos AFC. After having played for 93 minutes, Igor Lucian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El ciclon Gambito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Lucian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igor Lucian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Piñalitos AFC had won after a very even match.
