Flavio Fraco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Victoriano Playo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Marcial Eate managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bonguno FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Eate was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelino Venceslas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santos Cambranes's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Delmar Ireno might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victoriano Playo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmar Ireno ran back to his position shaking his head. Bonguno FC's Victoriano Playo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Bonguno FC from getting a goal against them. When Mario Iago fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anaxágoras's protests and gave Mario Iago a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Anaxágoras! In the 34th minute of the match Eriberto Frederico sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victoriano Playo skillfully saved the ball. Delmar Ireno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th match minute, Bonguno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Nesto to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmar Ireno got free with Victoriano Playo in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When Teobaldo Etxepare got free in front of the goal in the 52nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Angelino Venceslas was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 54 minutes into the game, Froilan Barto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anaxágoras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bonguno FC the free kick. After 54 played minutes Anaxágoras got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Barto. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Teobaldo Etxepare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bonguno FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Etxepare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Venceslas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teobaldo Etxepare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Angelino Venceslas made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Teobaldo Etxepare fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Angelino Venceslas, passed just outside the right post. 65 minutes into the match, Flavio Fraco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoriano Playo. Bonguno FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavio Fraco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. During the 67th minute of the match Froilan Barto completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Froilan Barto a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 68th minute, Froilan Barto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th match minute, Anaxágoras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Fraco to maneuver through the defense. When Santos Cambranes came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Bonguno FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Cambranes couldn't finish the play. Angelino Venceslas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Cambranes, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anaxágoras's goalkeeper Angelino Venceslas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anaxágoras's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Santos Cambranes 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Bonguno FC's zone, Delmar Ireno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Playo came out of the goal and Delmar Ireno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guido Carlomagno charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guido Carlomagno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Anaxágoras booed when Bonguno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Carlomagno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelino Venceslas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Cambranes in the 85th minute of play. Santos Cambranes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Santos Cambranes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delmar Ireno struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Victoriano Playo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anaxágoras. 95 minutes into the match, Bonguno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Ireno came free, but Victoriano Playo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bonguno FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
