Gaston Ritchie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aureliano Ciano in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Deportivo Escritorio's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Eguerdi came free, but Fausto Federigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaston Ritchie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timoteo Matthew's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the Talacasto FC defense, Aureliano Ciano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaston Ritchie. The Talacasto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Ritchie should have stopped the shot. With his leg Gaston Ritchie managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Deportivo Escritorio's Aureliano Ciano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobaldo Bonifaco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Timoteo Matthew ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaston Ritchie was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.
