Anaxágoras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talacasto FC the free kick. Froilan Barto hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The corner led Talacasto FC's Camilo Mark to fire away a dangerous shot which Angelino Venceslas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Flavio Fraco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Gaston Ritchie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 22nd minute Flavio Fraco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Ritchie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Eguerdi might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelino Venceslas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspar Eguerdi ran back to his position shaking his head. Gaspar Eguerdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saturnino Savier hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Anaxágoras's Angelino Venceslas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Bonifaco in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobaldo Bonifaco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Talacasto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Fraco came free, but Gaston Ritchie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 minutes of play Anaxágoras's Froilan Barto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Froilan Barto hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Gaspar Eguerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 played minutes Anaxágoras got a freekick which was hit by Mario Iago. Delmar Ireno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Ritchie having to interfere. Gaspar Eguerdi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Angelino Venceslas made a huge save. Delmar Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Gaston Ritchie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Anaxágoras booed when Talacasto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Isaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Venceslas having to interfere. Nestor Giraldo took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaston Ritchie. Gaston Ritchie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Teobaldo Bonifaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Talacasto FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
