Teofilo Gonsalvo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Froila, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The Tauren F.C fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Tauren F.C's Arturo Gumaro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 15th minute Arturo Gumaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Gumaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tandil FC's Teofilo Gonsalvo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Froila in the 22nd minute of play. Teofilo Gonsalvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Gumaro in the 23rd minute of the match. Santo Abecia's late challenge caught a Tauren F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santo Abecia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tandil FC's Santo Abecia got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Anastasio Froila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Gumaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filiberto Guerau struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Teofilo Gonsalvo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tauren F.C. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, David Rosario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tauren F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but David Rosario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofilo Gonsalvo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Arturo Gumaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teofilo Gonsalvo. Tandil FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Gumaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Arturo Gumaro took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teofilo Gonsalvo. Teofilo Gonsalvo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Anastasio Froila made the kick off in the second half. Tandil FC's Teofilo Gonsalvo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Guerau in the 55th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Tauren F.C's Arturo Gumaro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. 67 minutes into the match, Tandil FC's goalkeeper Teofilo Gonsalvo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Gumaro. 69 minutes into the match, Tandil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Froila came free, but Teofilo Gonsalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Filiberto Guerau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tauren F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiberto Guerau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Gumaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Teofilo Gonsalvo made a huge save. In the 75th minute Anastasio Froila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Tandil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Johans to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Gonsalvo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Gumaro in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Tandil FC's Guido Quinten got a free kick in the 81st minute. Arturo Gumaro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 87thth minute of the game Anastasio Froila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tandil FC's Teofilo Gonsalvo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Gumaro got free with Teofilo Gonsalvo in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Tauren F.C booed when Tandil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Jakobe didn't get a good kick on the ball.
