Hugo Llorenc started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Matambre's goalkeeper Melquiades Maties had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorato Sal. Fernando Calvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute Hilario Eleazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Palben saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Llorenc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Matambre's Melquiades Maties got control of the ball when Honorato Sal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 20 played minutes Nankatsu FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Llorenc. Matambre's Melquiades Maties played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Llorenc in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Matambre getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Claudio Jokin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Matambre's zone, Honorato Sal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Maties came out of the goal and Honorato Sal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the game, one of Matambre:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 30 played minutes, when Nankatsu FC:s Honorio Amaya calmly waited for Matambre:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Honorato Sal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Honorato Sal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Maties having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Hilario Eleazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matambre's supporters rose to their feet, but Hilario Eleazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Palben breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hilario Eleazar was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Ricardo Poz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matambre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nankatsu FC the free kick. Honorato Sal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Maties having to interfere. Ermegildo Palben made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Calvino in the 65th minute. If Hugo Llorenc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Sal in the 71st minute of play forced Matambre's goalkeeper Melquiades Maties to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Maties showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Llorenc in the 79th minute of the match. Hugo Llorenc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Maties having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Matambre got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Jokin. Matambre's Melquiades Maties played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Sal in the 88th minute of play. Hilario Eleazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermegildo Palben made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Eleazar in the 93rd minute of play.
