The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes HEAVY FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Gaskon. HEAVY FC's Edgard Tiniebra got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Jonatan Donzel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rapelli's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Donzel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Balesio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 minutes, Amador Aimar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HEAVY FC and the Rapelli players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes HEAVY FC got a freekick which was hit by Amador Aimar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Gar in the 16th minute of play forced Rapelli's goalkeeper Baltasar Jacob to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the HEAVY FC defense, Jonatan Donzel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciriaco Balesio. The HEAVY FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciriaco Balesio should have stopped the shot. In the 21st match minute, HEAVY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Sidoro to maneuver through the defense. Rapelli's Baltasar Jacob proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Rapelli from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute, Amador Aimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hector Salvidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The HEAVY FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rapelli were winning 0-1.

After having played for 56 minutes, Gregorio Gaskon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HEAVY FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Gaskon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
