Spectators: 7209 (Terracing: 5441, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hilario Eleazar kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Denis Oton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Maties was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Gerardo Hitzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Maties having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, El Terco F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Oton to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Maties showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Hitzeder in the 22nd minute of the match. Fernando Calvino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thanasis Tapinos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Denis Oton might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Maties. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Oton ran back to his position shaking his head. If Denis Oton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Hitzeder in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Maties saved Matambre from getting behind. In the 44th match minute, Matambre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Poz to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Paulo Urre sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Matambre's Melquiades Maties didn't even have to move. Gerardo Hitzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

El Terco F.C.'s Thanasis Tapinos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Eleazar in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Fernando Calvino made a precise shot to the right of Thanasis Tapinos. El Terco F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 56th minute, Fernando Calvino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thanasis Tapinos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Matambre's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Gerardo Hitzeder scored to the left of an out of position Melquiades Maties, making the score, 2-1. Gerardo Hitzeder received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Melquiades Maties came out and tried to block the shot, but Gerardo Hitzeder slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 67th minute. Melquiades Maties made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Denis Oton sent off a good shot on target. When Hilario Eleazar, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 74 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Thanasis Tapinos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Claudio Jokin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, El Terco F.C.'s Denis Oton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Maties narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Matambre's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gerardo Hitzeder fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 82nd minute, Lisandro Ciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 minutes of play, El Terco F.C.'s Denis Oton made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Maties was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gerardo Hitzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Melquiades Maties tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Oton didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-4 via right post in the game's 90th minute. El Terco F.C.'s supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! El Terco F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
