Claudio Jokin hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Matambre's Melquiades Maties played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Ebardo in the 17th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Guillermina AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fernando Calvino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Melquiades Maties didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Ebardo went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Melquiades Maties took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Ebardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conrado Ebardo struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Melquiades Maties didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guillermina AFC. Hilario Eleazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Castel having to interfere. Matambre's Fernando Calvino got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernando Calvino came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eleuterio Castel could save by the left post. The supporters of Matambre booed when Guillermina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Leheren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Leheren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Maties having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 57th minute Conrado Ebardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Maties saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match, Conrado Ebardo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Melquiades Maties saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 77 minutes into the match, Matambre's goalkeeper Melquiades Maties had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Leheren. Hilario Eleazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodolfo Leheren struck a weak shot in the 94th minute.
