Ernesto Raebert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urutaú FC. After having played for 38 minutes, Lorenzo Serafo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urutaú FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Serafo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernabe Lamberto to make the kick off. Roque Cutberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urutaú FC's Generoso Balendin got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Generoso Balendin ran back to his position shaking his head. If Generoso Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Balendin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Eufrasio kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. If Generoso Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute.
