After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Hermengildo Guillem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Socoscora's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Guillem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Senin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Iker Taurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute of the match Gregorio Formerio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vladimiro Cambranes skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Esquipula in the 11th minute of play forced Pepperoni FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Senin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Sayveon hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Anselmo Esquipula took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermengildo Senin. Hermengildo Senin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 18 minutes, Gregorio Formerio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pepperoni FC and the Socoscora players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Socoscora booed when Pepperoni FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Formerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Socoscora's Hermengildo Guillem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermengildo Senin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Hermengildo Senin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iker Taurino's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Vladimiro Cambranes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Iratzeder in the 26th minute. Anselmo Esquipula blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermengildo Senin having to make a save. After 30 minutes of play, Socoscora's Anselmo Esquipula made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermengildo Senin was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Hermengildo Guillem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Socoscora getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ildefonso Salbatore hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iker Taurino in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermengildo Senin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Sayveon to make the kick off. If Hermengildo Guillem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Pepperoni FC's Hermengildo Senin got control of the ball when Anselmo Esquipula tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Hermengildo Senin managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Socoscora's Anselmo Esquipula fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Ladislao Galindo came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Pepperoni FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Galindo couldn't finish the play. Anselmo Esquipula in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hermengildo Senin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pablo Ciceron's late challenge caught a Socoscora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Ciceron helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Hermengildo Guillem fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hermengildo Senin, passed just outside the right post. Hermengildo Senin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iker Taurino went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Socoscora's Rigoberto Kepa got a free kick in the 80th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Socoscora's Hermengildo Guillem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermengildo Senin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Socoscora's Anselmo Esquipula got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anselmo Esquipula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Hermengildo Senin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Iker Taurino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Socoscora's supporters rose to their feet, but Iker Taurino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Senin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iker Taurino got free with Hermengildo Senin in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Pepperoni FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Socoscora were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
