In the 3rd minute, Edgardo Sayveon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Sayveon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jeronimo Millano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes in the game, Jeronimo Millano fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hermengildo Senin having to interfere. When Pablo Ciceron fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pepperoni FC's protests and gave Pablo Ciceron a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Big Tigers booed when Pepperoni FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Ciceron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pepperoni FC's Hermengildo Senin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Odon in the 17th minute of play. Miguel Odon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Senin having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, Jeronimo Millano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Big Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeronimo Millano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pablo Ciceron hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The supporters of Pepperoni FC booed when Big Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeronimo Millano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Hermengildo Senin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Sayveon in the 42nd minute of play forced Big Tigers's goalkeeper Federico Etxatxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes Pepperoni FC got a freekick which was hit by Amador Pitin. 47 minutes into the match, Pepperoni FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Senin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeronimo Millano.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Sayveon to make the kick off. Pepperoni FC's Fausto Iratzeder got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Odon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Senin having to interfere. The supporters of Big Tigers booed when Pepperoni FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Maju didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes in the game, Jeronimo Millano dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 61 played minutes Pepperoni FC got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Galindo. Federico Etxatxu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgardo Sayveon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 64 minute of play. Federico Etxatxu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 68th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gregorio Formerio. In the 70th minute Edgardo Sayveon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Etxatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Odon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Iratzeder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Federico Etxatxu having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Sayveon in the 84th minute of play forced Big Tigers's goalkeeper Federico Etxatxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
