Natalio Javiero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Pagomari in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Ovidio Pasqual got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Justino Ritchie took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Natalio Javiero. Genérico FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 75th minute, Donato Lugo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 76 minutes, Aurelio Pagomari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Que Lio Messi F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Pagomari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Que Lio Messi F.C. booed when Genérico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Ekaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Aurre during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes Genérico FC got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Oton. In the 87th minute, Ovidio Pasqual made a precise shot to the right of Natalio Javiero. Genérico FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 94th match minute, Que Lio Messi F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Tristan to maneuver through the defense. Teobaldo Rosio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alonzo Gartzen. Genérico FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
