Teobaldo Rosio came out of the goal and Anselmo Esquipula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iker Taurinos short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Teobaldo Rosio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Socoscora's Vladimiro Cambranes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Pagomari in the 18th minute of play. Iker Taurino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Teobaldo Rosio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Teobaldo Rosio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Taurino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernan Chucho hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Anselmo Esquipula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Rosio having to interfere. Teobaldo Rosio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Arnaldo Esquipula. 48 minutes into the match, Iker Taurino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teobaldo Rosio. Que Lio Messi F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iker Taurino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.

54 minutes into the match, Socoscora's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Pagomari came free, but Vladimiro Cambranes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Esquipula went to the cornerflag to take it. Anselmo Esquipula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Teobaldo Rosio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Que Lio Messi F.C.'s goalkeeper Teobaldo Rosio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Socoscora were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
