Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teofilo Mitxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Julian Abeita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Alvarez took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julian Abeita. Julian Abeita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to FC Ryukyu getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gilberto Tauro hit a great ball. Gaston Fernendo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Gonsalve in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ambrosio Alfonso saved FC Ryukyu from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Alvarez in the 35th minute of play forced La Vagancia's goalkeeper Julian Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th match minute, FC Ryukyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Dantae to maneuver through the defense. Ambrosio Alfonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Gonsalve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Teodoro Rafe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes, Aurelio Henry mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ryukyu and the La Vagancia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Ryukyu! The referee gave La Vagancia a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Victor Cordeiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Ryukyu's Ambrosio Alfonso. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofilo Mitxel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Victor Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Abeita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Alvarez in the 61st minute. Julian Abeita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Mitxel in the 62nd minute of play. When Teofilo Mitxel came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the FC Ryukyu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Mitxel couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Teodoro Rafe made a precise shot to the right of Ambrosio Alfonso. FC Ryukyu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Rafe in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ambrosio Alfonso saved FC Ryukyu from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacobo Gonsalve in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ambrosio Alfonso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodoro Rafe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Alfonso having to interfere. Teofilo Mitxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfredo Tabby during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wilfredo Tabby kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Fausto Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. La Vagancia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Rafe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Gonsalve in the 96th minute of play forced FC Ryukyu's goalkeeper Ambrosio Alfonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. La Vagancia had won after a very even match.
