Siro Meder charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Siro Meder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Siro Meder kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Evaristo Hernando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Abeita having to interfere. Elvio Pasqual hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Bernabe Lamberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Abeita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Amboy got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Beltran. Teodoro Rafe struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ernesto Raebert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Vagancia. After having played for 23 minutes, Jacobo Gonsalve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Vagancia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Gonsalve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of La Vagancia booed when Amboy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Beltran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute of the match La Vagancia got a corner. Amboy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victor Cordeiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. La Vagancia's Victor Cordeiro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ernesto Raebert in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to La Vagancia getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Elvio Pasqual hit a great ball. Julian Abeita made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Evaristo Hernando sent off a good shot on target. Ernesto Raebert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Rafe in the 42nd minute of the match. Ernesto Raebert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Rafe in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacobo Gonsalve to make the kick off. Elvio Pasqual's late challenge caught a Amboy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elvio Pasqual helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Amboy booed when La Vagancia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Pasqual didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodoro Rafe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Ernesto Raebert skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Teodoro Rafe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Ernesto Raebert when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 65 minutes, Alberto Beltran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amboy and the La Vagancia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes La Vagancia got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Gonsalve. With a little luck, Amboy's Ernesto Raebert got control of the ball when Teodoro Rafe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Abeita came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Amboy's Bernabe Lamberto. But to his dismay, Bernabe Lamberto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 80th minute, Teodoro Rafe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodoro Rafe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Ernesto Raebert made a huge save. Amboy's Ernesto Raebert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Amboy from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, Teodoro Rafe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesto Raebert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Rafe in the 89th minute. Jacobo Gonsalve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Raebert having to interfere. Teodoro Rafe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ernesto Raebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Gonsalve struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Ernesto Raebert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Vagancia. When the referee blew the final whistle, Amboy could leave the field as winners, despite La Vagancia having more of the ball for most of the match.
