After having played for 9 minutes, Generoso Balendin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urutaú FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Balendin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Carlos Jakue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Freddy Xabat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teofilo Mitxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Xabat got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Freddy Xabat hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Teofilo Mitxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Generoso Balendin to make the kick off. Anacleto Ledesma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Mitxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Balendin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ambrosio Alfonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Cedro got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Gervasio Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes FC Ryukyu got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Dantae. After 81 minutes of play, FC Ryukyu's Fausto Alvarez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anacleto Ledesma was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th match minute, FC Ryukyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Dantae to maneuver through the defense. Generoso Balendin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anacleto Ledesma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Alvarez in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC Ryukyu could leave the field as winners, despite Urutaú FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
