After a rather tough play, Socoscora's Ildefonso Salbatore got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Gualterio Lucado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Genérico FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Lucado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Cambranes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anselmo Esquipula could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Natalio Javiero made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Suero during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rigoberto Suero kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Vladimiro Cambranes came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Genérico FC's Gualterio Lucado. But to his dismay, Gualterio Lucado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Iker Taurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natalio Javiero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hermengildo Guillem showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. Hermengildo Guillem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Natalio Javiero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iker Taurinos short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Natalio Javiero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Hermengildo Guillem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomero Fidensio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Vladimiro Cambranes made a huge save. In the 71st minute, Socoscora's Arnaldo Esquipula seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arnaldo Esquipula the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Socoscora protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arnaldo Esquipula had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Socoscora:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Genérico FC:s goal. Genérico FC were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Socoscora's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alonzo Gartzen took the corner. Genérico FC's Alonzo Gartzen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vladimiro Cambranes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Socoscora's Iker Taurino got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vladimiro Cambranes made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Baldomero Fidensio sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Demesio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vladimiro Cambranes. Socoscora's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 85th minute, Iker Taurino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Iker Taurino came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Socoscora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Taurino couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Iker Taurino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gualterio Lucado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
