After a rather tough play, Urutaú FC's Gervasio Mendez got a free kick in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Esquipula in the 3rd minute of play forced Urutaú FC's goalkeeper Anacleto Ledesma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Iker Taurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th match minute, Urutaú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Jakue to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Socoscora's Iker Taurino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anacleto Ledesma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anacleto Ledesma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Salbatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Anselmo Esquipula came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Socoscora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Esquipula couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Ildefonso Salbatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimiro Cambranes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Cutberto in the 28th minute of play. Anacleto Ledesma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Taurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Ildefonso Salbatore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anacleto Ledesma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roque Cutberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Vladimiro Cambranes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roque Cutberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Cambranes having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iker Taurino made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Carlos Jakue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iker Taurino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Ledesma having to interfere. Vladimiro Cambranes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Balendin, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When Roque Cutberto came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Urutaú FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Cutberto couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iker Taurino got free with Anacleto Ledesma in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anacleto Ledesma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Guillem in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Urutaú FC booed when Socoscora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Peyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimiro Cambranes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Cutberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 90th minute, Socoscora's Clodoveo Constancio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anacleto Ledesma. Anacleto Ledesma yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. The Socoscora players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
