Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Urutaú FC's Roque Cutberto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roque Cutberto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernesto Raebert having to make a save. Generoso Balendin scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Raebert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 8th minute, Generoso Balendin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roque Cutberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ernesto Raebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Generoso Balendin struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Ernesto Raebert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urutaú FC. After 17 played minutes Urutaú FC got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Balendin. Anacleto Ledesma made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Evaristo Hernando sent off a good shot on target. Bernabe Lamberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Ledesma having to interfere. In the 24th minute of the match Celso Romero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anacleto Ledesma skillfully saved the ball. Amboy's Evaristo Hernando got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Amboy's Bernabe Lamberto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anacleto Ledesma. Anacleto Ledesma yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 33 minutes into the game, Urutaú FC's Generoso Balendin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Raebert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Carlos Jakue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ernesto Raebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Amboy defense, Generoso Balendin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Raebert. The Amboy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Raebert should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Balendin in the 43rd minute of play forced Amboy's goalkeeper Ernesto Raebert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roque Cutberto struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Ernesto Raebert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urutaú FC. In the 45th minute, Isidoro Ostadar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernabe Lamberto to strike the kick off in the second half. Urutaú FC's Generoso Balendin got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Amboy's goalkeeper Ernesto Raebert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roque Cutberto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto Raebert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Roque Cutberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Raebert having to interfere. If Generoso Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Amboy's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roque Cutberto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Urutaú FC's Gervasio Mendez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ernesto Raebert in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Amboy getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Alberto Beltran hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Cutberto in the 84th minute of play forced Amboy's goalkeeper Ernesto Raebert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Roque Cutberto came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Urutaú FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Cutberto couldn't finish the play. Bernabe Lamberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Anacleto Ledesma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bernabe Lamberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urutaú FC played a much better game than Amboy and deserved their victory. The Amboy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
