Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Amado Hondo made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mollecito's goalkeeper Astor Llorenc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th minute Feliberto Maore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Llorenc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Llorenc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Hondo in the 18th minute of play. When Aquilino Cordeiro came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Mollecito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquilino Cordeiro couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Mollecito booed when Ambil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Iztal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mollecito's zone, Feliberto Maore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Llorenc came out of the goal and Feliberto Maore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Saturnino Ereinotz came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Mollecito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Ereinotz couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Gonsalvo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Gonsalvo in the 52nd minute of play. The referee gave Mollecito a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Isaias Igon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ambil's Jacinto Maxin. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Raebert in the 58th minute of play forced Mollecito's goalkeeper Astor Llorenc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliberto Maore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquilino Cordeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Maxin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aquilino Cordeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Astor Llorenc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Hondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Feliberto Maore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Llorenc having to interfere. Feliberto Maore who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Astor Llorenc when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 96 minutes into the match, Mollecito's goalkeeper Astor Llorenc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Genaro Raebert. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mollecito fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ambil had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
