Romeo Gaspard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Boniel in the 4th minute. Emilio Boniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Romeo Gaspard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute of the match, Emilio Boniel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Romeo Gaspard was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Talitos Futbol Club's Guaberto Clementi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Barreto. In the 27th minute of the match Guaberto Clementi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvano Hodei showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mauricio Abad kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Guaberto Clementi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Barreto booed when Talitos Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Mouricio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 played minutes Talitos Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Gipuzkoa. In the 48th match minute, Barreto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Clementi to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pastor Medina to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Mauricio Abad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Emilio Boniel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barreto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 66 minutes into the game, Octavio Mouricio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talitos Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barreto the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Vargas in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Gaspard saved Talitos Futbol Club from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, Victorio Vargas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romeo Gaspard. Talitos Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorio Vargas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Romeo Gaspard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauricio Abad went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Victorio Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barreto fans cheered their team off the field, for while Talitos Futbol Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
