Justo Cambranes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Justo Cambranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 11 minutes into the match, Chacay City Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Lano came free, but Teobaldo Hats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Lano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Teobaldo Hats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Lano's late challenge caught a Chacay City Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Lano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Faro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Lano to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Chacay City Fc booed when Faro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Baumer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Ler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aurelio Lano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Ilazki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Lano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Teobaldo Hats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Aurelio Lano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Faro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Lano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teobaldo Hats breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute Aurelio Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Hats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justo Cambranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Hats having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Alberto Baumer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Teobaldo Hats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Lano in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Justo Cambranes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Faro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Justo Cambranes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teobaldo Hats breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teobaldo Hats stood somewhat misplaced when Aurelio Lano came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 73 minute. Justo Cambranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Hats having to interfere. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chacay City Fc's goalkeeper Teobaldo Hats, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Faro FC's Aurelio Lano got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Lano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teobaldo Hats was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Justo Cambranes might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teobaldo Hats. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justo Cambranes ran back to his position shaking his head. Tiburcio Ilazki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Loren having to make a save. The Chacay City Fc fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Faro FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
