Emilio Boniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Berbiz having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Vargas in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guido Berbiz saved Charuto F. C. from getting behind. C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barreto were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
