A collision led to Strobel getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Eugenio Elorri hit a great ball. Hector Fertus might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidoro Ignado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Fertus ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the SURULECHE defense, Santiago Benino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidoro Ignado. The SURULECHE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidoro Ignado should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Hector Fertus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidoro Ignado. SURULECHE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Fertus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Fulgencio Brais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Herensuge having to interfere.

The wind increased when Santiago Benino made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Segundo Gaizko managed to get in a good position for a shot. SURULECHE's supporters rose to their feet, but Segundo Gaizko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Herensuge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidoro Ignado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Fertus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the game, Strobel's Santiago Benino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidoro Ignado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. SURULECHE's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hector Fertus 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-10. After 97 played minutes SURULECHE got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Fernanco. Strobel's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
