Spectators: 6969 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Santiago Benino kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the game, Aureliano Blai recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alejo Herensuge. Aureliano Blai showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Armando Otsoko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Fertus in the 6th minute of play. Montiel's Armando Otsoko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Benino in the 13th minute of play. Strobel's Hector Fertus got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Santiago Benino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strobel's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Benino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Otsoko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Horacio Nastasio fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strobel's protests and gave Horacio Nastasio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Strobel getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Horacio Nastasio hit a great ball. Hector Fertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Armando Otsoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Montiel's Astor Pudes got a free kick in the 44th minute. Lázaro Naldo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Armando Otsoko. Montiel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Aureliano Blai made the kick off in the second half. Armando Otsoko made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Santiago Benino sent off a good shot on target. Horacio Nastasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Otsoko having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Hector Fertus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Otsoko. Montiel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Fertus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Aureliano Blai hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st match minute, Montiel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Johans to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Hector Fertus kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armando Otsoko. That made the score 2-3 in the 76 minute of play. When Hector Fertus came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Strobel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Fertus couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Montiel's zone, Hector Fertus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Otsoko came out of the goal and Hector Fertus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando Otsoko made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Santiago Benino sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, Montiel's goalkeeper Armando Otsoko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Benino. In the 92nd minute, Eugenio Elorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aureliano Blai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Alejo Herensuge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Montiel booed when Strobel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Nastasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aureliano Blai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Alejo Herensuge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Montiel fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Strobel were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
