But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neil Boothey couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neil Boothey got free with Lino Manex in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Neil Boothey came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Fulgura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neil Boothey couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in terrabusi fc's zone, Neil Boothey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Manex came out of the goal and Neil Boothey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 27 minutes, Bernardino Nabar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the terrabusi fc and the Fulgura players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes terrabusi fc got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Nabar. Lino Manex made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliberto Cloyo in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute Feliberto Cloyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Manex saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Manex made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Neil Boothey sent off a good shot on target. Feliberto Cloyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Lino Manex made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliberto Cloyo made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, terrabusi fc's goal looked a bit too open when Neil Boothey came free, but Lino Manex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Maximo Gabrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Manex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Cloyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Jonatan Chayo notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of terrabusi fc's Lino Manex. Lino Manex was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliberto Cloyo in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lino Manex saved terrabusi fc from getting behind. terrabusi fc's Lino Manex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Boothey in the 91st minute of play. There was no doubt that Fulgura were the better team. Fulgura's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
