Vicente Innocenzio started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Vicente Innocenzio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Claypole AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strobel the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Claypole AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Innocenzio to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Claypole AFC booed when Strobel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Naldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claypole AFC's Claudio Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Benino in the 10th minute of play. Hector Fertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 21st match minute, Claypole AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Bermund to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Claypole AFC's zone, Santiago Benino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Ranolfo came out of the goal and Santiago Benino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claypole AFC's Claudio Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Benino in the 31st minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santiago Benino made a kick off. Through a series of nice moves, Strobel's Lázaro Naldo on his own came free in the 54th minute of the match and shot 0-1 behind a disappointed Claudio Ranolfo. In the 61st minute Strobel were awarded a corner. Lázaro Naldo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Strobel's Lázaro Naldo to fire away a dangerous shot which Claudio Ranolfo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 70th minute, Hector Fertus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudio Ranolfo. The goal made the score 0-3. Alejo Herensuge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Beturian in the 75th minute of the match. Santiago Benino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Claudio Ranolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santiago Benino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Claudio Ranolfo made a huge save. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Santiago Benino sped through Claypole AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Claudio Ranolfo. Santiago Benino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Ranolfo having to interfere. Hector Fertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Claudio Ranolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Strobel's Santiago Benino got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Strobel's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
