Constantino Malvin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Johans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Moises Johans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Malvin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moises Johans hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Rolando Ricart charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolando Ricart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ĵōĝő βổňїтǿ ƒ.¢ getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Rolando Ricart hit a great ball. Dalmacio Frechoso charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmacio Frechoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 40 minutes into the game, one of ĵōĝő βổňїтǿ ƒ.¢:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Montiel. Paolo Honesto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Constantino Malvin. 0-1. After the first half Montiel were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aureliano Blai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Constantino Malvin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Ubelteso in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, ĵōĝő βổňїтǿ ƒ.¢'s goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Blai came free, but Constantino Malvin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Reynaldo Afonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armando Otsoko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Arotza in the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ĵōĝő βổňїтǿ ƒ.¢'s zone, Moises Johans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Malvin came out of the goal and Moises Johans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aureliano Blai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Juan Arotza notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Montiel's Armando Otsoko. Armando Otsoko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aureliano Blai received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Constantino Malvin came out and tried to block the shot, but Aureliano Blai slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 73rd minute. Juan Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Otsoko having to interfere. In the 81st minute, one of Montiel:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Montiel. If Aureliano Blai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Otsoko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Rubio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Johans struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Constantino Malvin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montiel. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
