Neil Boothey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Otsoko having to interfere. Maximo Gabrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Otsoko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Boothey in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Fulgura getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Neil Boothey hit a great ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Feliberto Cloyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fulgura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Cloyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximo Gabrio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Otsoko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Filiberto Otsando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Otsoko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliberto Cloyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Otsoko having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Montiel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Ubelteso to maneuver through the defense. After 29 minutes of play, Fulgura's Feliberto Cloyo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Otsoko was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Fulgura's Feliberto Cloyo in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montiel's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliberto Cloyo in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Otsoko saved Montiel from getting behind. Reynaldo Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Otsoko having to interfere. Maximo Gabrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Maximo Gabrio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fulgura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximo Gabrio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Johans got free with Siro Gauargi in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baldomiro Ovando succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 48th playminute. The Montiel players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fulgura were winning 1-2.
The wind increased when Aureliano Blai made the kick off in the second half. Neil Boothey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Otsoko having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Neil Boothey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fulgura's supporters rose to their feet, but Neil Boothey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Otsoko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliberto Cloyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Armando Otsoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Montiel's goal looked a bit too open when Neil Boothey came free, but Armando Otsoko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgura's Feliberto Cloyo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximo Gabrio got free with Armando Otsoko in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Filiberto Otsando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Fulgura's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Blai came free, but Siro Gauargi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rdth minute of the game Feliberto Cloyo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montiel's Armando Otsoko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Montiel's Armando Otsoko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Boothey in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Fulgura's Maximo Gabrio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Otsoko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Neil Boothey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fulgura's supporters rose to their feet, but Neil Boothey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Otsoko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Fulgura's Armando Otsoko threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonatan Chayo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Maximo Gabrio struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Armando Otsoko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fulgura. Armando Otsoko made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Feliberto Cloyo sent off a good shot on target. Fulgura's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
