After 15 minutes, Marcial Tanio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Douglas Haig and the La Tablada FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of La Tablada FC booed when Douglas Haig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Tanio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Adolfo Tabor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hipolito Gartxot was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Abelardo Millan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Adolfo Tabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Tabor was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Jaime Dayam notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of La Tablada FC's Fabio Astudillo. Fabio Astudillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Douglas Haig's Hipolito Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Tabor in the 60th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergio Isusko during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cipriano Galo didn't quite understand what happened when in the 63 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Hipolito Gartxot came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by La Tablada FC's Pablo Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Pablo Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Tabor in the 93rd minute of play forced Douglas Haig's goalkeeper Hipolito Gartxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Jaime Dayam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Douglas Haig's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Dayam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Astudillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
