The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Atilano Ciceron dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabio Astudillo, 1-0. Pablo Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ciro Galtero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Hendrix United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Cordarius to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Hendrix United getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Geronimo Madeo hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Ismael Mendebal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Tablada FC's Adolfo Tabor got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Adolfo Tabor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Tablada FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Atilano Ciceron struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Fabio Astudillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hendrix United. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Tabor was the one to do the kick off. Geronimo Madeo charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geronimo Madeo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Geronimo Madeo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Jacinto Lekubegi hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Pablo Cordeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro Galtero. Hendrix United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Cordeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Mendebal in the 62nd minute of play forced La Tablada FC's goalkeeper Fabio Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1-3 became the score in the 65th minute when Pablo Cordeiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 70 played minutes La Tablada FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Tabor. After 74 minutes of play, Hendrix United's Atilano Ciceron made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Astudillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Tablada FC's goalkeeper Fabio Astudillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Atilano Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Mendebal struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Fabio Astudillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hendrix United. 85 minutes into the game, Hendrix United's Atilano Ciceron nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Astudillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Fabio Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Mendebal in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Cordeiro got free with Ciro Galtero in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. La Tablada FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
