Alvarado Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Sedeni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. German Jakes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Sedeni in the 22nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfonso Hernandez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Angel Argoitz. That made the score 1-1 in the 28 minute of play. Angel Argoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Hernandez in the 34th minute of the match. German Jakes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Ledesma, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 44th match minute, Nacimienta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Hernandez to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gervasio Ledesma stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Ledesma couldn't finish the play. Gervasio Ledesma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without German Jakes having to make a save. When Emiliano Orti fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvarado Futbol Club's protests and gave Emiliano Orti a yellow card for diving instead. 72 minutes into the game, one of Alvarado Futbol Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. German Jakes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Ledesma in the 84th minute of play. Angel Argoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Johans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
