Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. But to his dismay, Marcial Ignado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Aristides Illart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Jenaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alderetes! In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Miñones FC. Francisco Piarres stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aristides Illart. 1-2. Alderetes's Aristides Illart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Bizen in the 44th minute of play. Maximiliano Selatse hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evelio Jenaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Alderetes's goalkeeper Aristides Illart had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Benet. Rafael Berenguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Ignado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Illart made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorio Bizen in the 56th minute. The supporters of Alderetes booed when Miñones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Emesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filiberto Dei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Berenguer having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Alderetes's goalkeeper Aristides Illart had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evelio Jenaro. Alderetes's Aristides Illart proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Alderetes from getting a goal against them. Marcial Ignado hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Miñones FC's Honorio Bizen got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute Filiberto Dei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Berenguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evelio Jenaro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Aristides Illart when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 79 played minutes, Alderetes's Adolfo Muno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafael Berenguer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alderetes reached it. The supporters of Miñones FC booed when Alderetes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Selatse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Muno took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rafael Berenguer. Miñones FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Evelio Jenaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute.
