Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evelio Jenaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Aquiles Gutierrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquiles Gutierrez made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Honorio Bizen sent off a good shot on target. Aquiles Gutierrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Bizen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in ElFortin FC's zone, Evelio Jenaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Gutierrez came out of the goal and Evelio Jenaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Honorio Bizen made a precise shot to the right of Aquiles Gutierrez. ElFortin FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Ricardo Benet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquiles Gutierrez having to make a save. 37 minutes into the match, Honorio Bizen notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ElFortin FC's Aquiles Gutierrez. Aquiles Gutierrez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Evelio Jenaro made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ElFortin FC's Federico Illart got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Cornelio Emesto hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Evelio Jenaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquiles Gutierrez was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After some careless play in the ElFortin FC defense, Ricardo Benet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquiles Gutierrez. The ElFortin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquiles Gutierrez should have stopped the shot. Abelardo Tulio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Gutierrez having to interfere. If Abelardo Tulio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Berasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Gutierrez having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evelio Jenaro in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquiles Gutierrez saved ElFortin FC from getting behind.
