After 10 played minutes Resacados FC got a freekick which was hit by Siro Abecia. Victorio Kinsen charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorio Kinsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victorio Kinsen hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, one of Resacados FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Liniers a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Severiano Ferdinand, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Resacados FC's Americo Playo. 0-2. Gaudencio Tabb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Teyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eulalio Teyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gaudencio Tabb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Liniers's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Teyo came free, but Gaudencio Tabb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Americo Playo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Goi in the 34th minute of the match. Leonides Goi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Americo Playo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Mannuel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaudencio Tabb having to make a save. 47 minutes into the match, Liniers's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Teyo came free, but Gaudencio Tabb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonides Goi was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Liniers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Orzaize to maneuver through the defense. If Cayetano Cristos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 64 minutes, Cayetano Cristos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liniers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Cristos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cayetano Cristos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Americo Playo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jose Mannuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Leonides Goi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Playo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Leonides Goi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Resacados FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Liniers's performance. The match ended with a win for Liniers.
