Lucas Marz was slow to take the kick. During this time Centenario TDF's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Centenario TDF's Lucas Marz to fire away a dangerous shot which Valentin Lertxun despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Valentin Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Domingues in the 16th minute of play forced La Azul FC's goalkeeper Valentin Lertxun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Fidel Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centenario TDF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Froilan Mikelar made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Primitivo Burni sent off a good shot on target. Abel Gervaso charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Gervaso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Centenario TDF's Abel Gervaso got a free kick in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Primitivo Burni managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Azul FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Burni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Mikelar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute Fidel Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Lertxun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignacio Roland kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The corner led Centenario TDF's Lucas Marz to fire away a dangerous shot which Valentin Lertxun despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Valentin Lertxun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Domingues in the 38th minute of play. Valentin Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Eufemio, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in La Azul FC's zone, Fidel Domingues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Lertxun came out of the goal and Fidel Domingues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateo Eufemio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fidel Domingues to make the kick off. Froilan Mikelar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Primitivo Burni's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Fidel Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Fidel Domingues got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Mateo Eufemio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Centenario TDF's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Eufemio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Valentin Lertxun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Tobias Astudillo sped through Centenario TDF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Froilan Mikelar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Eufemio got free with Valentin Lertxun in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Primitivo Burni came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the La Azul FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Burni couldn't finish the play. Despite being the better team, Centenario TDF failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
