In the 19th minute, Severo Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, La Azul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Berasko came free, but Valentin Lertxun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Yanda Pirata y Celeste getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Serafino Onbera hit a great ball. Arnaldo Urtats's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Valentin Lertxun skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tobias Astudillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jorge Madaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Camilo Berasko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yanda Pirata y Celeste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Berasko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of La Azul FC booed when Yanda Pirata y Celeste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Lucila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Urtats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Camilo Berasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Lertxun having to interfere. Arnaldo Urtats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Valentin Lertxun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Berasko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Primitivo Burni got free with Jorge Madaleno in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute, one of Yanda Pirata y Celeste:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yanda Pirata y Celeste. When the match had been going on for 58 minutes, La Azul FC's Cristobal Benet got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jorge Madaleno. La Azul FC's Valentin Lertxun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Urtats in the 61st minute of play. Valentin Lertxun came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Yanda Pirata y Celeste's Camilo Berasko. But to his dismay, Camilo Berasko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Valentin Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Urtats, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th match minute, Yanda Pirata y Celeste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Lucila to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Lertxun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camilo Berasko went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Berasko in the 75th minute of play forced La Azul FC's goalkeeper Valentin Lertxun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Berasko in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentin Lertxun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filomeno Txilar hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Camilo Berasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Hermelando during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tobias Astudillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Madaleno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Camilo Berasko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yanda Pirata y Celeste's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Azul FC the free kick. Primitivo Burni struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Jorge Madaleno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Azul FC. With an all-out effort, La Azul FC's Jorge Madaleno threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tobias Astudillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 92nd minute, La Azul FC's Tobias Astudillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Berasko in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Lertxun saved La Azul FC from getting behind.
