Severo Barros helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to La Azul FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Severo Barros hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in La Azul FC's zone, Claudio Hondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Lertxun came out of the goal and Claudio Hondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enzo Belarmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Burni, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Roland during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to La Azul FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ignacio Roland hit a great ball. Valentin Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Israel Navarro to strike the kick off in the second half. Valentin Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Hondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Israel Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Israel Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Lertxun having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Hondo in the 67th minute of play forced La Azul FC's goalkeeper Valentin Lertxun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Primitivo Burni fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in La Azul FC's zone, Claudio Hondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Lertxun came out of the goal and Claudio Hondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentin Lertxun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Hondo in the 85th minute of play. Tobias Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Belarmo having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, La Azul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Hondo came free, but Valentin Lertxun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
