If Fabian Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvador Calisto got free with Gaudencio Tabb in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Constantino Benitez's late challenge caught a CASLA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Modesto Otoniel, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 20 minutes, Jonathan Iigo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CASLA FC and the Liniers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonathan Iigo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When Fabian Flores came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the CASLA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Flores couldn't finish the play. Cayetano Cristos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herminio Ixaka took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cornelio Estebano. CASLA FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cayetano Cristos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonides Goi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornelio Estebano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Orzaize in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabian Flores to make the kick off. Gaudencio Tabb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Flores in the 52nd minute of play. Fabian Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Tabb having to interfere. The supporters of CASLA FC booed when Liniers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Benitez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cayetano Cristos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornelio Estebano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Salvador Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Tabb having to interfere. Gaudencio Tabb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Liniers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CASLA FC.
