In the 4th minute Israel Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Ubarna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Raquel FC's Genaro Laurentzi got a free kick in the 8th minute. The referee gave Martínez a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cosme Miro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Raquel FC's Enzo Belarmo. 0-1. In the 15th minute, Claudio Hondo made a precise shot to the right of Lino Ubarna. Martínez's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Israel Navarro struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Lino Ubarna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raquel FC. After a rather tough play, Raquel FC's Marcos Salvator got a free kick in the 25th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Rodolfo Vergaray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Martínez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Vergaray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th match minute, Raquel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Bittor to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Vergaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodolfo Vergaray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aureliano Johans struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Enzo Belarmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martínez. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Aureliano Johans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Martínez's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Johans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Belarmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martínez's Lino Ubarna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Navarro in the 42nd minute of play. Rodolfo Vergaray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Israel Navarro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Israel Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Ubarna having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Johans got free with Enzo Belarmo in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aureliano Johans received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enzo Belarmo came out and tried to block the shot, but Aureliano Johans slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 72nd minute. Rodolfo Vergaray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Belarmo having to interfere. Lino Ubarna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Navarro in the 78th minute of play. In the 86th minute Raquel FC were awarded a corner. Oscar Artizar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Marcos Salvator almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Martínez's Lino Ubarna did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Artizar in the 91st minute of play forced Martínez's goalkeeper Lino Ubarna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Vergaray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Belarmo having to interfere.
