Haroldo Weterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Tadeusz Czaplicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caio Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Barto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Tadeusz Czaplicki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filiberto Felipo in the 17th minute. Haroldo Weterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Caio Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes in the game, Haroldo Weterio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tadeusz Czaplicki having to interfere. Filiberto Felipo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Jaime Rey kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Caio Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Caio Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeusz Czaplicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Chalicán's Gerardo Santxol in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monte FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 45th minute Isaac Havier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Barto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Seber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Weterio made a kick off. Jaime Rey hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Arturo Barto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Santxol in the 64th minute. After 69 played minutes Chalicán got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Musko. After a defensive mix-up in Chalicán's zone, Haroldo Weterio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeusz Czaplicki came out of the goal and Haroldo Weterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerardo Santxol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Havier's late challenge caught a Monte FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Havier helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chalicán's Isaac Havier got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 96th match minute, Monte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Felipo to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Monte FC were the better team. Monte FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
