The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Magdaleno during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Napostá booed when Federal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Magdaleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Martin Goi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrian Toro skillfully saved the ball. Adrian Toro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Chorache in the 11th minute of the match. Adrian Toro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Nabar, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Dabi in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Toro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pablo Chorache struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Adrian Toro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Federal . An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Chorache in the 23rd minute of play forced Napostá's goalkeeper Adrian Toro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Toro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Dabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Dabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Chorache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Adrian Toro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Toro came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Federal 's Pablo Chorache. But to his dismay, Pablo Chorache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After the first half Federal were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pablo Chorache stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gaudencio Nabar hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Pablo Chorache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Toro having to interfere. Adrian Toro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Chorache in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Arnoldo Ibañez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Napostá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 71st match minute, Federal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Nabar to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Federal 's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jimeno Cordareo was slow to take the kick. During this time Napostá's players had a chance to rest. Napostá's Jimeno Cordareo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Norberto Bilbo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Narciso Dabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Toro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Napostá's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Chorache came free, but Adrian Toro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Adrian Toro managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Federal 's Narciso Dabi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Napostá succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Federal had controlled the match.
